  5. MARTAC Partners with Mystic Powerboats to Expand Production Capacity for Autonomous Surface Vessel Deliveries

MARTAC Projects 500% Revenue Growth and 700% Order Growth in 2026 Fueled by Record First-Half Results

Unprecedented Performance and Scaled Production Capacity Position Company to Meet Surging Demand from U.S. Defense and Allied Customers for Autonomous Systems

Melbourne, FL — July 14, 2026. Maritime Tactical Systems, Inc. (MARTAC), a leading U.S. provider of fully autonomous unmanned surface vessels (USVs), today announced the strongest first-half results, covering January through June 2026, in the company’s 15-year history.

MARTAC concluded a record six months across orders, funded backlog, revenue, profit, cash flow and operational capacity, while increasing production capacity twenty-five fold. The results reflect increasing vessel deliveries to domestic and international customers, as well as the sale of autonomy subscription, training and maintenance services. With orders already placed and growing demand from U.S. and allied defense organizations for autonomous systems, the company is projecting full year revenue growth of 500% and order growth of 700% over 2025 results, along with a record profit level, while increasing its research and development investment by 1000% year over year.

The results follow a leadership realignment throughout 2025 and 2026 that included the appointment of seasoned experts with deep expertise in strategy, technology, finance and customer relations, including Tony Smeraglinolo as Chief Executive Officer, Jim Harvey as Chief Technology Officer, James H. (“Seamus”) Flatley as Chief Growth Officer, Kimberly Brickler as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer and Scott Empson as Vice President of Production. In addition, multiple Board of Directors changes were made including the selection of Todd Swanson as Chairman, and Co-founder Tom Hanson, Leonard Genna, Paul DelleNeve and Smeraglinolo as Board members.

The strong financial performance is accented by several major developments. In May, a MARTAC Devil Ray T38 vessel completed an unprecedented 192-hour fully autonomous mission in varying sea states for the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division’s Future Capabilities Office. In June, MARTAC opened a West Coast Innovation Center, a hub for research, development, testing and customer engagement, in San Diego, CA, complementing its existing East Coast Innovation Center in Melbourne, FL. Also in June, the company announced a new distributed production model to quickly scale capacity and accelerate delivery, signing partnerships with leading boat builders Mystic Powerboats and Intrepid Powerboats, with additional partnerships pending.

Smeraglinolo said “Building on the significant leadership changes made over the last 18 months, the record results we have achieved so far in 2026 are a clear validation of MARTAC’s superior technology, constant innovation, best-in-class boats and exceptional operational effectiveness. Beyond concepts and demonstrations, MARTAC has a ten-year history of proven on-the-water performance, reliably conducting 115 missions with varying payloads across a range of environments. We will continue to set the industry bar for USV endurance, reliability and operational control.”

MARTAC’s fleet of scalable, battle-hardened autonomous USV platforms include the MANTAS™ T12, Devil Ray™ T18, Muskie™ M18, Devil Ray™ T24, Devil Ray™ T38, providing a suite of mid-range USV solutions combining unprecedented stability, speed and coverage that meets real-world mission demands.
