Maritime Tactical Systems, Inc. and H.Henriksen AS announce strategic partnership

Maritime Tactical Systems, Inc. and H. Henriksen AS are pleased to announce they have entered into a global strategic partnership, combining MARTAC’s industry leading innovative maritime unmanned surface vehicle with H.Henriksen AS’s world class Maritime Unmanned Systems launch and recovery products and systems

Melbourne, FL, USA & TØnsberg, Norway – Sept. 4, 2020 – Maritime Tactical Systems, Inc. (MARTAC) and H. Henriksen AS (Henriksen) are pleased to announce they have entered into a global strategic partnership combining MARTAC’s industry leading innovative maritime unmanned surface vehicle (USV) MANTAS with Henriksen’s world class Maritime Unmanned Systems (MUS) launch and recovery (L&R) products and systems.

With launch and recovery of maritime USVs playing an increasingly critical role in the utilization of unmanned maritime systems in military, commercial and scientific markets, end-users recognize that many USV implementations are abandoned or underutilized due to the inability to effectively deploy and recover in mission critical situations.  Launching and recovering USVs in maritime environments represents a major impediment to USV adoption.  The MARTAC-Henriksen partnership brings together deep skills in high performance USVs and launch and recovery technologies to support customers’ successful USV missions while reducing operational risk.

In addition to the development of integrated systems to improve high-performance USV adoption, H.Henriksen will support Martac on global sales.

The MARTAC-Henriksen partnership is a powerful combination. Henriksen’s understanding of complex launch and recovery systems and its deep engineering expertise is uniquely complimentary to MARTAC’s innovative  best-in-class high performance MANTAS systems. We believe this helps to generate industry leading technology products and platforms,” said Bruce Hanson, MARTAC’s Chief Executive Officer.  “With a broad L&R product line capable of supporting both MANTAS X-Class (2 – 3.6m) and Medium Class (7 – 20m) launch and recovery systems as well as their long history of delivering quality solutions in the European and world markets,  this partnership will allow us to drive far greater adoption for our customers.

“Partnering with MARTAC to deliver comprehensive unmanned maritime surface solutions for our clients will allow us to provide the very best business, program and product strategies on which we’ll conceive, design, and build the next generation of unmanned maritime platforms,” said Henrich Henriksen, Managing Director, H. Henriksen AS. “Together, working as one team, we will unlock the full potential of the maritime unmanned surface vehicle market to both our customers and markets.”

Connecting MARTAC’s innovative high-performance USV’s with Henriksen’s next-generation L&R technology and engineering expertise, this collaboration represents a step-change in the way both businesses address the needs of their market.
